We all remember the less-than-stellar meals served in the school cafeteria. You might have been left sighing at the choice of a lackluster hot dish or a brown paper sack lunch, longing for the rare, once-a-month offering of everyone’s favorite: pepperoni pizza.

Wendy Froistad bought her Maple Grove home 34 years ago. For the first 15 years, she focused on her family and their day-to-day activities. The family’s yard was well-kept but unexceptional, a standard landscape in a nice suburban neighborhood.

Since the first infestation of Emerald Ash Borer (EAB) was reported in Michigan in 2002, the invasive Asian beetle has killed tens of millions of ash trees nationwide. The pest was first discovered in Minnesota in 2009.
Maple Grove resident Brett Bernard has spent more than 20 years as a teacher of 3rd, 4th and 5th graders. So he knows what works during this critical age when it comes to instilling math skills into the minds of young learners.
This is the cookie that started it all. The oatmeal chocolate chip was the first recipe that Maple Grove native Annette Gustafson ever entered at a fair and won a ribbon by coming in fourth place.
